JD Hamel Park, located in downtown Sarasota across from Marina Jack’s offers a prime setting, with strong visibility from US-41/Tamiami Trail. This high-traffic area attracts seasonal tourists and affluent residents, creating an ideal audience for a high-quality art show. The park’s picturesque, historic setting features an expansive lawn and a large parking area, making it both beautiful and highly functional for exhibitors and patrons.
The venue is exceptionally show-friendly, offering Friday move-in, cold water, fruit, and ample convenient parking. For added convenience, HotWorks provides Light Dome tents ($275) and Light Dome Tents w/ProPanels ($475) for rent, includes set up and tear down.
Hot Works supports each event with a comprehensive, high-impact
marketing campaign designed to attract serious art buyers. Promotion
includes TV, radio, print, digital advertising, social media, postcards,
banners, and more–all focused on bringing patrons who are ready to
purchase art.
All media are accepted. Applicants must create their own original work.

Hot Works Sarasota Fine Art Show is one of America’s premier juried fine art and craft shows — ranked among the Top 100 Art Shows in America 18 times by Sunshine Artist Magazine and Art Fair Source Book.
The event is held 100% outdoors at the Sarasota Art Museum, located in south Sarasota, with high visibility from US-41/Tamiami Trail and plenty of close-by parking. The Museum — a transformation of the historic Sarasota High School — is Sarasota’s only museum focused solely on contemporary art, offering rotating exhibitions, educational programs, and a space to engage with today’s most compelling artists. Dogs aren’t allowed beyond the Museum gate unless they are service animals. However, guests may bring dogs to walk around the art show in the parking lot, as long as they clean up after them.
What Makes This Show Special
Top-Quality Artists: Featuring a carefully juried selection of artists selling original, handmade art across painting, sculpture, glass, clay, photography, wood, fiber, mixed media, jewelry, and more.
