Hot Works’ Sarasota Fine Art Show is held entirely outdoors at the Sarasota Art Museum in south Sarasota. The show takes place 100% in the Museum’s parking lot and offers high visibility from US-41/Tamiami Trail, along with plenty of convenient nearby parking.
In 2003, a group of 13 forward-thinking Sarasotans united around a shared vision: to enrich Sarasota’s cultural landscape with a contemporary art museum. After two years of collaboration with local arts, education, and community leaders, the Sarasota Art Museum partnered with Ringling College of Art and Design to transform the historic Sarasota High School into a dynamic art museum and visual arts education center.
Today, Sarasota Art Museum serves as a catalyst for the appreciation and understanding of contemporary art. Through an ever-changing rotation of innovative and thought-provoking exhibitions, the Museum inspires new ideas, dialogue, and creative exploration. As Sarasota’s only museum dedicated exclusively to contemporary artists and their work, SAM offers visitors a space to engage with cutting-edge exhibitions and educational programs that amplify the city’s creative spirit.
Join us at this prestigious location for the Hot Works Sarasota Fine Art Show!
Please note: Dogs are not permitted beyond the Museum gate unless they are service animals. Guests may bring dogs to walk around the outdoor art show in the parking lot, provided they clean up after them.
