Sheila Landis & Rick Matle, Jazz Duo

Vocalist/percussionist Sheila Landis and 7-string guitarist Rick Matle explore jazz, blues, Brazilian beats and classic rock and pop hits. Together they’ve won twelve Detroit Music Awards, with seven awarded to Landis as “Outstanding Jazz Vocalist.”

Denise Davis has performed at top Metro-Detroit venues and festivals, including Greektown and Hollywood Casinos. She’s shared the stage with music legends like The Contours, Funk Brothers, and Spyder Turner. Known for her powerhouse vocals and electric stage presence.

Vladimir Gorodkin

Performs Throughout the Show

Vladimir plays the Tsimbaly, a traditional hammered dulcimer from Belarus and Ukraine. His music spans folk and modern styles, using chromatic instruments with high-tension steel strings to produce a rich tone.

  • Voted as one of America’s Top 100 Art Shows in America – 12x by Sunshine Artist Magazine – the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show returns to the heart of West Bloomfield with high visibility off Orchard Lake Road, south of Maple.
  • Executive Producer Patty Narozny has 35+ years of media and event experience. Since 2003, this high quality, juried fine art and craft show features top-notch artists selling their original and personally handmade art in all discipline including paintings, sculpture, glass, clay, photography, wood art, fiber, mixed media, jewelry and more. You will see artists at this show whom you won’t see at other Michigan shows. Criteria for jurying is based on originality, technique, execution and booth appearance. There is something for everyone, in all price ranges.
  • Institute for the Arts & Education is the 501c3 non-profit organization which supports visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth.
  • Our philosophy is to bring patrons specifically to the art show with the means to purchase art. They are culturally savvy with higher incomes. Both onsite marketing and turnkey community enrichment opportunities are available.
  • We are grateful for the continued relationships with local Detroit media – WJBK Fox 2 Detroit, WDET Public Radio, Detroit Public TV, Oakland Press, Detroit Jewish News, West Bloomfield Beacon, Between the Lines, West Bloomfield Township, West Bloomfield Community Education, West Bloomfield High School, City of Keego Harbor and Waterford Township have been part of this show for years! Event postcards and posters are distributed within the community to further target the art-buying patron which makes the show a success.
  • There is great food and live entertainment. While at the show be sure to visit one or more of seven food trucks and the Youth Art Competition. This unique and one-of-a-kind program invites all students in grades K-8 or ages 5-13 to enter his/her original art that is publicly displayed within the art show duration of the event. Sunday at 3pm there is a presentation of awards with cash prizes as students begin to learn the rules of doing art shows for a living.
  • There is $5 Admission, 13 & under are free, which supports Institute for the Arts & Education and helps to pay the increased costs of producing the event. You can find plenty of free, close and very convenient parking in the last back half of the lot behind Beaumont Medical Center. Drive all the way to the back of the parking lot, and it will take you to the entrance of the art show!
