SARASOTA COUNTY (WSNN) – The Sarasota Open-Air Fine Art Show is bringing you art from all over the world, this weekend.
It’s open from 10 am to 5 pm at Phillippi Estate Park.
You’ll find arts of all kinds: paintings, wood, clay, glass, fiber, jewelry, and more.
Show Director, Patty Narozny says she pulled together 65 qualified juried artists in less than three weeks. She says she’s trying to help struggling artists make a living.
Patty says her goal is to reopen the many art shows that have been closed down.
“We noticed right when we closed down that virtul doesn’t work,” Narozny said. “So my motto is, ‘See Art, Love Art, Buy Art.’ And it’s even more true than ever. But the patron-artist relationship is invaluable.”
COVID guidelines are in place; it’s outside, face coverings are recommended, and booths are separated seven feet apart with a 25-foot aisle on one end, and a 33-foot aisle on the other end.
But if you can’t make it to the show, it’s online as well. You can find the artwork here.
It’s a five-dollar admission for adults, and it’s for kids age 15 and under.
